Although very
short and brief, this article was able to give me a lot of insight into the
fact that sorority life has maintained the same throughout the years. In the
short length of 334 words Barresi thinks back to her time in a sorority. Maintaining
certain grade point averages, living by the values set, specifically by Delta
Zeta in this case, and doing charitable work are still today the main goals of sorority
women. She explains that a sorority can be a home away from home and can give
you life long friends. These are all valid arguments that any sorority women
today would give you as well. Although times have changed, the reason women
join have not. I will use this to further claim the positive impacts Greek life
has.
