Although very short and brief, this article was able to give me a lot of insight into the fact that sorority life has maintained the same throughout the years. In the short length of 334 words Barresi thinks back to her time in a sorority. Maintaining certain grade point averages, living by the values set, specifically by Delta Zeta in this case, and doing charitable work are still today the main goals of sorority women. She explains that a sorority can be a home away from home and can give you life long friends. These are all valid arguments that any sorority women today would give you as well. Although times have changed, the reason women join have not. I will use this to further claim the positive impacts Greek life has.
